121 Training Programme

Let's plan your dog's training together

Do you need a dog trainer?

You love your dog but struggle with some of their behaviour.

Walks can be frustrating, embarrassing and stressful: because your dog pulls on lead, barks at other dogs, or just doesn’t listen.

You might have tried training but it didn’t work, and felt confused by all the conflicting dog training advice online. You worry that people will judge you and your dog.

You probably just want to enjoy having a dog and give them the best life. Most of us dog owners do!

You don't have to struggle with your dog alone - I can:

Show you how to train your dog effectively

Help by training and walking your dog for you so they can make progress while you work.

Give non-judgemental support.

Make training your dog fun instead of it feeling like another task.

I even have a calm helper dog, for those dogs who need to learn better social skills.

Frequently asked questions

What methods do you use?

I use only reward-based training methods which means I use healthy treats, toys, and anything else the dog likes to reinforce good behaviour. I want your dog to love training and working with you.

If you currently use corrections/punishment to train your dog you are more than welcome to train with me and explore reward-based methods without any judgement. 🙂

Why do you offer a longer training programme that costs more?

I previously offered two sessions of 121 training, however I realised people need more support over a longer time to make real progress with their dog.

Although other trainers might say they can transform a dog in one session, this often involves harsh punishment. In reality getting a well trained dog takes time and effort and I never make unrealistic promises, or use quick fix methods that put your dog’s welfare at risk.

Lots of my clients needed someone to train and walk their dog for them while they work. I’ve designed this programme to be flexible so that I can teach you to train your own dog while also doing some of the work for you.

Will this fix my dog's issue permanently?

Honest answer: Real, long term behaviour change in dogs takes time and sometimes changes to routine: more enrichment, better exercise, and putting in the work to train!

I can’t promise a guaranteed outcome because it all depends on you taking my advice and continuing the training.

But I will be there every step of the way to make a plan and help you stick to it. I also design my training plan based on your dog’s actual progress: if something isn’t working I change the plan to make sure it is! Every dog is different and they need individual support.

The more intensive support I provide also means you won’t be left to figure it out on your own.
